I was just curious as to what people usually leave their speedo display on. I usually have it on the audio mode so I can see the song or station but it's usually the same on the Comand (or UMI) screen. So i've been changing it between the navi mode or the mileage (trip computer) mode.... what mode do you guys leave it on?

The perimeter of the speedometer is fixed but the center has various display features available. I know it's redundant but I like a digital speed reading in the center of the speedometer.

I sometimes set the display to MPH too, especially like last weekend (long holiday weekend) when the local constabulary was out in full force collecting revenue.

I sometimes set it to the fuel / mileage status especially when the low fuel warning comes on, and then sweat bullets when it quits indicating how many miles are left until empty and simply says, fill it now you moron!

But usually I have it set to the mode that gives the trip mode / mileage since start, etc.

Note, I respect law enforcement officers, but in a small town / exurb area it sometimes gets a little ridiculous especially when they ignore a lot of problems any other day of the year.

i like it in the digital speedometer mode, i find that i dont exceed the posted speed limit that way.

Hell, you'd have to tape my foot to the steering column to keep me from speeding!

Digital readout in the center, huh? Nope, not for me; I'm too old-fashioned, I guess.

keep it in its default view. Sometimes switch to trip info on longs rides.

ALso use digital speedo as when I lower the seat back and and the wheel lower a bit I can't see the top part of regular speedo.

odometer only. but i do periodically check my mpg. my worst has read 14.8 mpg once.

Audio when I want to easily skip songs with the steering wheel buttons.

note that I drove 2 miles for an hour but average speed says 3 mph..lol

At least as you only went 2 miles at 8pmg, you only consumed 1/4 a gallon in the hour.

Mine tends to be on either the main screen (odometer and trip), or the "from start," to watch MPG.

The reason I don't leave it on the "from start," all the time is that sometimes I don't want to know the MPG.

haha, it was unexpected snow on new year's eve, and idiots don't understand that RWD car with summer tires doesn't go uphill on snow...GLK had no problem even with 20's on...love AWD.

Got navi with permanent speedometer on mine. Allows me to adjust volume of audio on steering wheel.
