I need to order a set of winter tires also for my GLK-350.
I have a set of Blizzak not on my Jeep compass - I love them! Since I will be shipping my car abroad, I need to buy them before in the USA (I will check out costco also as there might be some discounts...)
What about the TPMS? Can I order a additional set? How would I sync it? For the jeep for instance it keep 8 sensors in the system - which is just perfect 4 all season and 4 winter tires. Tirerack sells with the winter kit "433MHz Tire Pressure Sensor "

isn't TMPS useless in winter anyways? I thought it doesn't work bellow certain temperatures, might be wrong tho.

from what I read, they do work just that it would say low if you don't do a cold fill

Mercedes GLK 350
So anyways, Tire Rack is out of some sort of centering rings for their rims, and basically all of the 17" rims I chose are not available until mid-January...looks like I'm keeping my stock wheels on for this winter..

Where can I order Mercedes Center Caps to install on the replica mags that I'll be using this winter?

Hey, I saw the same thing on Tire Rack's site. I switched to 18" and they had availability. I went with the MSW 12 rims and Blizzak DM-V1. There are hub-centric rings listed on the invoice. Not sure...maybe they are a different spec than the ones your rim choice needed. It's also possible that I'm going to get a call/note from them saying they are out. If that is the case...I'll have them ship w/o and get some cut. I had to do that for some 19s I put on my 2006 GTO. FYI there is a LOT of debate over the need for hub-centric rings. I fall into the 'better safe than sorry" camp. Anyway...good luck. I'll post picks if/when I get them since I couldn't find any pics of them on a GLK.

Call TireRack directly and ask about the center rings. I just bought a set of winter tires and wheels and the order said that the rings wouldn't come in until january, but I got a phone call from tirerack a couple hours later saying that it would only be a few days. I got my wheels & tires a few days after that.

Also I called MB to ask if there would be any problem if I didn't install the TPMS on my winter set of tires, and other than the annoying dash light, I was told that the cruise control won't work either.
