^^^Idk what you guys are talking about...when that little light is on, there are so many other things on (climante control buttons, radio button, navi etc.) that outshine that little thing. I surely can't tell what that little light really illuminates. Maybe if it was on by itself, but it's never on by itself.

I can clearly see what it is doing when it is dark, at least on the C300.

guys, it took you two pages to come to a conclusion that the light that is present is only there for a little bit of aesthetics. No it does not serve any useful purpose such as a turning signal or the engine, but its just there to add a little extra to the car

Thanks for telling us again what we already determined a month after we were finished with it.

If you want to comment on something why don't you contribute to a current thread or give us information to update an older thread. Thanks again.

I disagree with many of you...................this light does serve a very important purpose. Read your manuals thouroughly....

Frank, seriously, the whole idea behind members posts are to get answers from other members not to play twenty questions or to tell them to look at their manuals. We all know how to Google something. So if you have an answer give it up otherwise don't bother not helping.

The two of you need to compare notes to solve this monumental problem. Looks like the two of you have had your GLK's for about a year and you haven't figured it out yet.

It's distracting if it reflects off of one's tinfoil hat.

No more phone calls, we have a winner.
Page 235 in the 2012 manual. However, your OCD would have to be in Turbo Mode to really care about calibrating your compass according to the instructions in the manual.

Are we on page 3 yet?

Just trying to answer vs. not answering & pretending I own the forum servers & dictating how it should be used.

Checked mine tonight and I have two areas under the rear view mirror that look identical but only the one on the right side gives out the ambien light. Is it suppose to be the one light or both lights?
