$350 for service A
It is due for service A. Call the dealer(@ Calgary) to make an appointment. It will cost $350+
It is an expensive oil change and lubrication job! Is it worth it?

It's kind of funny that all dealer has different price on Service A and B..
they should make it standard fee...
it normally cost 250 plus tax.. but I had coupon and paid 199 plus tax w/ free crappy car wash..
It should not cost any more than 250.. no matter what they say.. all dealers uses MB certified standard oil.

The OP is quoting the price in Canada which is close to what you say ($250) in the US. There is always going to be price fluctuation throughout the country don't you think? A loaf of bread does not cost the same throughout North America either...

Service A consists of:
Pulling the GLK up to the service bay.
Remove the engine front cover and dipstick.
Insert oil extractor into dipstick tube and turn on the suction pump.
Lean into the engine bay and remove oil filter and install a new one.
Pour in new oil, install dipstick, start engine & check for leaks, snap on front engine cover.
Walk around car checking to see if there is anything unusual, like one wheel having more brake dust on it than the others.
Pull it out of the service bay, take for a quick spin around dealer lot or side roads.
Done.
$250+ taxes, disposal fees etc... please.... no thank you! A total rip.

I just keep a folder with all the receipts/work-orders for oil changes and service calls (A/B/C/etc...) and leave it in the glove compartment with the MB manual and maintenance book.
Generally, I save about a 1/3 on labor/parts. The only "problem" you may have with an indie MB wrench is that you won't get a "free rental".
