3rd windshield
A few tips:
During inclimate weather, stay back at least 2 car lengths for every 10mph of speed
Never ride behind a truck, (dump truck, 16-18 wheeler etc) in any weather.
Avoid driving behind SUV's or even cars that do not have rear mud guards
Always try to have no one in front of you at highway speeds.
Improve windshield updraft by buying wiper arms with proven spoilers. These help reduce debris damage.

Well not me at least.
I knew it was an OEM windshield because Safelite had to order it from one of the MB dealers in the area. Safelite had not started to produce the GLK windshield at the time. It was too new.
Check out their video. The announcer says nothing about drying out and being scratched by the wipers over time.

Lets just hope this one lasts longer than a month!

Insurance paid for OEM replacement at dealer body shop. No sideline installers or cheap glass for me. I wanted an experienced MBZ installer, using all OEM glass, adhesives, and trim. The sticker was on the bill, they are $8.
Total install was $983. I paid my $250 deductible. Left the car overnight so the adhesive had time to setup. The glass is a structural component so it's highly advised to let the urethane setup before driving them.
You cannot tell mine was replaced.
