B service rip off
Took my car in for service B (2nd year) today. They gave me estimate:
Service B $340
Cabin Filter $60
Brake Fluid Flush: $175
I almost started laughing.
Me: what does B include that A doesn't?
SA: Let me get the print out...
I looked at printout and it lists Service B, oil change....etc.
Me: So what does B includes in addition to service A?
SA: They inspect brakes because different ppl have different driving styles...blah blah blah
Me: I rotated tires myself and my brakes are barely worn, no service B or brake fluid flush, please.
SA: ok, let me make a note of that

OK so what did you have done and how much was it? BTW are you going to the NY Car Show?

I had my B service do in february, i just had them do the oil change and brake flush. i told them i did the cabin filter. i checked it and it's plenty clean, plus it can be bought on ebay for cheap. also i have discount tire rotate and balance the tires every 5k. no charge.

Did Service B myself.... no time for dealership unless something real bad happens... and I do mean REAL bad.
Been to show... Among the first to get in last Saturday. The Benz display is grand... the new models are sweet! Be sure to check out the false brakes on the concept. Enjoy!

MB glk 350
The cabin filter is on the passenger side under the glove,unscrew the 3 torx head screws and remove plastic cover then unclip the 2 sml clips then slide the plastic lock over then pull down the cover then the filter comes out 10 min max!
