glk cabin filter
the c350 filters goes for alot cheaper, as low as $15 shipped. Mann-Hummel says the glk and c class share the same filter, but some sellers say they are not the same. has anybody bought a cabin filter off ebay or other sites for the c350 and determined if it fits a glk350?

show corresponding MANN+HUMMEL Group P/Ns for the 350 C-Class and 350 GLK cabin filters.
BTW: By clicking the GLK350 4Matic and - the Cabin Filter CUK 2551, there is a link to a neat DIY replacement procedure called "Mounting instructions": http://www.mann-hummel.com/mf_prodka...u/HB5JXdhG.pdf

Here it is on E-bay Motors for $20.00! Link: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/i.html?_...506.m270.l1313

They are $50 MRSP...and I could get them for about $40 US.
Here in Canada...they are asking way too much

MBRedux...yeah...it's an easy install....
The Mann parts fit perfectly. No issues.
You really have to beware of the other brands. Others are much cheaper, but the quality is not the same. For example, the air cabin filter needs to be charcoal-activated. If you read carefully, the others brands do not meet this requirement, although they will fit perfectly.
The oil filter is really important. Mann filter is about $10 for me. The other brands may be cheaper by like 1-2 dollars, which is not worth the decrease in quality.

i guess everybody pays for the dealer to install a cabin filter?
but I agree with you that it's a user servicable item and paying 3x the value to have it replaced is nuts...
