US vs Canada

From what I've been reading in these forums it looks as if I'd been better off buying the car in Canada. They seem to get a lot more stuff in their cars such as a cargo net, back up tilting mirrors, I even saw one list that includes a kompreesor, ( blower).

cargo net and air compressor would be last things on my mind when deciding between two dealerships in the same state.

BTW air comp. comes in US standard. Folding mirrors are silly, I would call it half folding. Tilt in reverse would be nice, but that might be on newer models. From what I remember Canadian prices are higher, unless that has changed. Also have to keep in mind Fx rates.

I know Canadian prices for ML's and E Class are ridiculously high compared the USA. That's why I bought my ML in Ohio and imported it to Ontario Canada.

Ours, a MY2011 (July2010) does it - passenger side only. Just have to activate it thru the push button of the mirror adjustment.

Check the manual.

Just set mine to do it but I can't really see much with it tilted.

it is only meant for you to see the curb when parallel parking and i think is a nice compliment with the backup cam if ever you have that option on your car. if you always back out straight lets say on a driveway it has no use and will only make you swear as you won't see the side of your car, that's when the backup cam comes in handy. What you can do though is if you have the memory seat option you can program one of the buttons to have the mirror tilt down so that the mirror will only flip down when you need it too then press the other button to bring it up again when you will drive straight. Now I wish there is a button that is only meant for the mirror to go up and down automatically for you to control or better yet have a camera on the mirrors like the infiniti and new bmws.

The Canadian deal can not be better, because it's a lot more expensive....

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with LA Kings here...
