Sirius Subscription
I have tried calling Sirius a few times and the cheapest price they gave me was $199 per year. I have seen on other forums they are currently getting $77 + tax and fee for 1 year.
Please let me know when and how much you paid to renew Sirius.
Thanks.
1) Subscription length (3 month, 6 month, 1 year)
2) price including taxes and fees
3) when did you subscribe

I just renewed my service from sirius.... this is my nth time to renew it. I always get the 6/5 months for 20 bucks. Right before my subscription expires, I call them and ask to cancel my service. After a couple of weeks, I call back to re-instate it again. This month, its been harder to renew it (giving me 30 something for 5 months or offering buy one month at regular price, next month would be free). Sirius would send you via email a questionaire.. answer it then after a few weeks a mailer would come re: 20 for 6/5 months renewal.
it all boils to less than 30 bucks (with taxes and royalty frees)

I have always used the "tactic" of telling them I just can't afford to keep it at the price they want to charge, and then they will ask you what you can afford? You tell them that with your car payment and insurance the most you can afford is like 5.00 per month and that you are willing to prepay for 2 years at 5.00, so for like 120.00 plus fees, you can have your sat back on.
Keep in mind that they will try to get you to take less package which is fine unless you listen to sports, if you do then just tell them that you expect to be given the same package that you were getting for the 11.00 for the 5 and you will most likely get it. I have found that you have to be nice and offer to pay in advance by like a year or two.
It might help you, depending on what notes that they have on your account.

Ok. I tried calling again and the person told me there is no $77 promotion right now. Darn. He will not offering anything close. Only $199 per year. I'll just wait for the email.

I just got the renewal paperwork from Mercedes and it's $12.95/month or $155.40/yr if I pay monthly or $157.83/yr + 1 month free if I go for a year. The price drops a bit if I go 2, 3, etc. years. A whole bunch cheaper than TV.

I just got an offer in the mail of $25 for 6 months.
I'd send it to you but I already tossed it.
Sorry...

Maybe mine was for 5 months, too.
Doesn't matter; I haven't turned on Sirius once since getting the car!
