Where are the GLK brake problems folks?
A few observations. After a few days and a few miles. I am looking for faults.
1. Pedal travel relative to 2 Volvos. In the absence of scientific measuring devices, I say this is a 3 way tie. The initial pedal travel in the Volvos might be fractions of an inch less, but too little to tell in the real world.
2.
I was skeptical of the Predictive Brake Priming. It absolutely works! On two occasions this week I have been caught close to lights when they turned yellow. You know the feeling. Punch it? Stop it? I picked stop both times. Both times the brake pedal was firm and tight by the time my foot applied any pressure at all. I actually had to back off the pedal a little the second time for fear that the Audi Q7 behind me might try to mate with Baby Precious.
3. No creeping at stops. No "pumping up" to get a firm pedal or reduce pedal travel.
The brakes work for me. I hope they work as well for everyone else.

Adaptive brakes
Powerful 4-wheel disc brakes feature a number of advances. If you lift off the accelerator quickly, Predictive Brake Priming sets the pads closer to the discs for more immediate response when you apply the brakes. In the rain, Automatic Brake Drying periodically applies the brakes just enough to sweep water build-up from the discs. And during uphill starts, Hill-Start Assist helps prevent unwanted rollback

I've had numerous MBs throughout the years and they all had terrific brakes.
The GLK is no exception.

Personally, I would stop looking for trouble if I were you... why jinx a good thing?
... and enjoy your car. Could be the little gremlins have been worked out, or maybe you haven't driven it enough, especially in inclement weather with corrosive salts and sands...

1,300+ miles on the clock. Break in over. Favorite back road. Early morning. No traffic.
BAM! Simulated panic stop. Good.
BAM! Another simulated panic stop. Perfect.
The GLK binders are seriously good.
