Where are the GLK brake problems folks?
1. Pedal travel relative to 2 Volvos. In the absence of scientific measuring devices, I say this is a 3 way tie. The initial pedal travel in the Volvos might be fractions of an inch less, but too little to tell in the real world.
2.
Powerful 4-wheel disc brakes feature a number of advances. If you lift off the accelerator quickly, Predictive Brake Priming sets the pads closer to the discs for more immediate response when you apply the brakes. In the rain, Automatic Brake Drying periodically applies the brakes just enough to sweep water build-up from the discs. And during uphill starts, Hill-Start Assist helps prevent unwanted rollback
3. No creeping at stops. No "pumping up" to get a firm pedal or reduce pedal travel.
The brakes work for me. I hope they work as well for everyone else.

The GLK is no exception.

... and enjoy your car.
BAM! Simulated panic stop. Good.
BAM! Another simulated panic stop. Perfect.
The GLK binders are seriously good.
