Might be selling the GLK
The time with our GLK might be coming to an end. We have really enjoyed the vehicle but our needs are changing with my wife now having a lot longer commute to work and me wanting something less 'classy' for going mtb riding, mx riding, etc.. I think we might get the wifey something a little better on fuel and cheaper, and with my car I use for work getting towards the end of it's life I want to get something that I can also use for my recreational needs. Just going to see what's out there she might like and be better for what she needs tomorrow. Anyone want a nearly fully optioned almost perfect condition GLK?

We are going to go test drive some stuff today. I will see what a few places offer for trade in but I would rather sell it outright.

Drove all sorts of stuff and it looks like it might be going away next week. Got a pretty good quote for trade in but I would be willing to sell it out right if someone wants to act quick.

Looks like it's going away tonight. Found a super nice Mini Cooper S for her. I've always wanted one and she loves it. Big difference from the GLK but it's really more practical for what she needs in a car. We both road raced motorcycles so we really like a more performance vehicle and the fact it also gets 35mpg is awesome haha!

ahh.. I had a Mini Cooper S, which I traded in for a 2012 GLK. I loved it... But the hard suspension didnt go too well with my bad kidneys.
The MCS was sooo much fun and awesome gas mileage!
Have fun!!!!!!

Yeah it is a BLAST to drive. Haven't gotten to drive it a ton so far as it's my wifey's ride but I'm stealing the key any time I can. Has almost all the options the GLK did but nave and Xenon's. Honestly the nav in the GLK was such a PITA to use and wasn't really that useful so I didn't even want to mess with another OEM one. A Nuvi is the way to go. I do miss the Xenon's but with the fog's on it's pretty darn good. She has driven over 200 miles this week and isn't even to 3/4 tank yet...ohh yeah!

Mine didnt have Navi or Xenons.. I had a/m Xenons installed, but the headlights needed resistors to avoid the bulb out errors.
The fogs needed BMW error cancelers. I still had to keep the light switch on while turning on the car if not the HIDs would flicker. This was to to fool the "Cold bulb check" feature in the MINI... It was annoying.... The permanent solution to avoid flickering was to have the dealer/someone with MINI software to go in and disable the "Cold bulb check"... i never got around to doing that...
I scoured the MINI forums for solutions, but this was what the MINI owners were doing...
So if you are going to get Xenons... see if you can get the software change done too.
Yea... the once or twice i drove nice on the highway the built in computer was telling me i was getting 42MPGs on the highway... The turbo sound was sweet too... Okay! I still miss the MINI!!!
