Hi, I was wondering, is it possible to raise the height of the GLK? To give it a bit more of an off-road look and feel.

Yeah, my inner redneck has been craving a Rancho lift kit and some 31" Mud Dawgs!

Looks can be deceiving. You'll ruin the ride, but each to his own. Originally Posted by DinB

The ride will be different for sure.
I have never thought a GLK would be off road against a Jeep.

do it...i wanna see.
Well I like the look of manly SUVs. I always liked the sportiness of the Wrangler mixed with a bit of aggression. GLK has a lot of similarity looks wise to the Wrangler, but is more classy and refined. Also Wrangler is a piece of crap in terms of creature comforts.
Besides, they have the off-road package in Europe so I am not thinking differently, just more future oriented.

I don't think MB "- ruin the ride -" by doing that.

Yeah but that is fine. Nobody ever said about raising the car 10". I just want to make it a bit more capable on rough terrain/deeper snow. Lets be honest, if somebody got this car for handling, then they got a wrong car in the first place and the 30mm raise is not going to affect that.Originally Posted by GLKKa2H
