2011 GLK Making Wind Noise
I have a 2011 GLK. When driving over 60 MPH it sometimes makes a whistling/wind noise. Sounds like it is coming form the vent/dashboard area.
I noticed other owners have had similar problems, but have not seen anything about solutions found. Anyone have any advice on how to direct the MB service dept to correct this issue?
Thanks in advance.

There are a few threads on the issue, some shops have added felt tape to the "heatbox"? I just got a 2012 a month ago and have the issue. I have found turning the a/c on/off/on fixes the issue for me, or turning on/off the recirculation button. Too small of an issue for me to require the shop to start digging around and removing stuff (someone had them remove the entire dash), fear they'll do more harm than good, maybe cause a bunch of new noises/squeaks.

I think one of the air duct valves does not seal properly.
