2012 GLK p1 CPO for $35000 - Good?
Hi all,
My 2011 C300 is in the shop, and they gave me a 2012 GLK to drive.
I like it! A lot, actually. Too much for my wife's comfort.
My salesman has a CPO 2012 with 950 miles, Comand, P1, backup camera. They will sell it to me for $35k.
The owner decided to get an ML and traded in the almost new GLK.
What do you think? I don't know what they go for, and KBB/Edmunds don't have any data on CPO prices for 2012s yet.

Sounds high to me. In early August I got a brand new 2012 with P1, heated seats, iPod integration, 4 years maintenance for $35,880 which was the SRP before the $5,200 worth of options that I claimed I didn't want anyway.

Build one on MBUSA and compare prices for exact options. That will give you some idea. Is it 4Matic? What other options?

Yes, it's a 4matic, P1, Multimedia package (Comand, rearview camera, etc)
A 2012 new comes out to $45k, Edmunds TMV for new is $41k
A 2013 on Edmunds books at $45, TMV $42.5
There's no used car data on KBB or Edmunds to try to get an idea of actual values.
DMBOLP, you got a 2012 GLK with P1 and Command, new for $35k? Was it a 4matic?
That's smoking, considering it's over $10k off the sticker.

I'm gonna say that with 950 miles, a better CPO warranty than new (to 100K miles I am guessing?) and 10 grand under MSRP, it sounds like a good enough deal if the features and options are what you want.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Plus 2012 comes with the traditional fuel injection, as opposed to the 2013 with their direct injection. 2013 is the first year for this motor in a US GLK, and the ML peeps are having strange issues with this new engine.
As a comparison, I paid around $46? for my '12, adding Towing, Harmon Kardon, Appearance, Panorama, Bi Xenon, Parktronic and MBrace to the one you are considering.

I think if I can get it down to $32k I'll pull the trigger.
It's not like I NEED a GLK, I have a perfectly good Mercedes with my name on the title.

These 1 year old cars average about 34k asking price, you should be able to talk off another 2k with a little haggling, but 1-owner cars they are not.

MBWorld Fanatic!
If you lease it or buy it until the wheels fall off get a 13. Expect 7-10% off MSRP, even more after the Euro nastys and fiscal cliff happens.![smash](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smashfreak.gif)
You have a paid for car, keep it and wait.
