Some of us have the misfortune to have a friend or neighbor who owns some rig that gets fantastic gas mileage (or so the owner claims). In any case, it gets really old: "I got 45 MPG on my last trip!" "I got 47 MPG going to see grandma!" You know how it goes.

So here's what you do: add gas to their car. No, I'm not kidding! Add gas to their fuel tank, then stand back as they brag about 50 MPG! 55 MPG! Even 60 MPG!

Then, after the owner gets puffed up beyond recognition, start syphoning out gas. Just a gallon or two at a time (don't get greedy). It's amazing how quiet they get after that.

HEHEH! That story is very old...! Today's cars have locked gas flaps, perhaps, in part for that very reason...! LOL!

Yep! I think that story came out right around the time the VW Beetle hit the streets.

With locking gas cap covers and all that, I guess now days all you could do is crawl under the car and tighten up the parking brake cable. heh!
