New addition to the family!
Hello all,
I've been a member on this board for quite some time as well as an owner of a Mercedes, however this week my parents decided to purchase a 2010 GLK350. It is there first Mercedes and are very excited! The car has only 6,000 miles and comes with Command. I believe they have premium package 1.
My main question is whether a backup camera could be installed after the purchase if the car does not come with one. Not sure what packages the car has. My parents live on top of a hill. I think the backup camera would be very useful for them.
Any thoughts?!

Someone on this forum installed a 3rd party backup camera (bought most parts from eBay) and wrote a lengthy installation thread.

Whoa there Kimosabe!, I'm in my late 60's and live at a bottom of a hill. Does that mean I should remove my camera? There easy to put in, lots of posts here about it. While your at it, install a trailer hitch, another popular item. They'll use it for there mountain bikes or BXM's!
9,000 miles on a 2010 sounds like a good deal in the making. Hope they enjoy it.
