Looking at CLS 550
Build to order ?s
Are there any options that may not show up online that you can get on this car. I saw one post about a heated steering wheel and I've never seen that option. I also have my GLK on order with the ash wood trim which is not a posted option. I'm in the US and wondered if I can get the heater steering wheel and what other options may be available.

You may see a post about heated steering wheel because the owner might be from a different region. In Canada we have heated steering wheel, Im assuming in US it is not offered. If you build one on the MB Canada website you will see the option packages are different.

Good luck. Our salesman didn't mention special order items. As a result, my wife doesn't have the same auto seat features as the driver. We would have liked that feature. Ask pointed questions of the sales staff. If they blow you off, suggest that they do some homework. You are, after all, the customer.

The heated steering wheel has MB order code 443, is in Europe listed as a separate option - in combination with comfort multifunction wheel 442 and (gas) tank 66 litre 916. Something to chew on for your (potential?) sales staff.

Salesmen often time know very little of special options. I remember seeing a list of available special order options for the US on this site, but I don't recall seeing the heated wheel on the list.
While the salesman should be doing the homework, as savvy consumers, we often have to do it ourselves.

No option codes though. Can't imagine 2013 is going to be radically different but you never know.
