Mercedes GLK 2012
Urgent! GLK 350 2010-2012 Hood/Airbag needed!
Greetings Everyone!
I have GLK 350 2012. Got in accident. Have to repair myself.
Really need a new hood and airbag ( wheel, knee).
Dealer`s price is extremely high around $1000 per item.
If anyone has useful links or willing to sell these parts call me 347 371 0016.
Phil

Used front end parts are hard to find since that is the area most people crack up.

... if your steering wheel airbag blew, you will need a new steering clockspring as well as a new airbag brain and possible front sensors. Verify your seat belt harnesses as well, as they have 'explosions' that kill the roll-back feature as well as the male belt plug-ins. They are meant to arrest the belt from extending in serious crashes... I would think after adding up the $$$ it might be wise to call in your insurance! A lot of recyclers will only sell the entire airbags together as a 'kit'.
I know this 1st hand as I rebuilt an 07 Nissan Sentra... requires alot more than you 1st think...

I agree, those two parts are just the tip of the iceberg.
