excessive road noise
Hello, I own a 2012 GLK 350 4matic....love the vehicle....only one issue....on course concrete roads I have (what I think to be) excessive road noise coming primarily from the front of the car....is this to be considered "normal"....some is obviously from the tires but I feel that there's noise resulting from somewhere else....anyone one else with this situation?

thanks guys for responding.....the tires are Continentals....so far the wear looks even and regular.....didn't think about the "balance".....I will most certainly check that out....thanks again!!

How many miles on tires? I had Scorpions on a vehicle that were quite when new but became very loud as they wore. I like the tire but knew when to change them. The little wear indicators have an effect on the air passage and can generate noise as they get close to the surface. Is the noise only on concrete? Many areas are grooving concrete for drainage. Also notice if there is a Jersey Barrier next to you when you get the noise (reflection)
Then again noise is subjective. Without a dB meter, whats loud to you may be almost in-audible to my old ear. If it were exhaust note, no one would complain.

Very very slow
I have scorpion tires on my car and it does make louder noises when I am on concrete highway (407ETR).
In fact, all the car that I've driven on this highway makes a quite a bit of noises. GLK has the least noise compare to other cars I have driven.
