GLK exhaust upgrade

Has any one considered upgrading the exhaust on their GLK. As a cat back or full exhaust.
I did check out the renntech headers and the sport mufflers.
I'm not sure 3280 is worth the 8+HP gain.. And I don't care for the look of the renntech muffler tips.

Has anyone done anything custom?

I'm looking at doing a full or cat back stainless exhaust on mine so I'll keep you posted.

No problem,
I think I may keep the oem headers and do a full exhaust back with high flow cats, H or X section, high flow mufflers and some custom tips. My buddy said he would get new flanges laser cut that mount to the head and make headers to but I don't think I would gain to much Hp with custom headers. I think I'll skip the headers and build some big brakes for the front and rear instead.

How about cut outs? Push button - quiet. Push button - loud.

Maybe if the GLK had a bigger motor.

I went with a custom full stainless 2.5" resonator back exhaust for now unit I can get some oem flanges that go to the bottom of the headers then I'll do a custom front section.

You will have to put up some video clips if you can. I would be very interested to see what that sounds like.

Looks great! So you eliminated the rear resonators (or are they considered mufflers?) so how does it sound?
