Anyone do a GLK Facelift Conversion?
Looking at the trade-offs between buying a 2013 GLK or a 2011 GLK and doing the facelift conversion (off one of my buddies who is looking to get into a new GL).
Don't know much about this car to be honest with you. Just that I like it, but this new facelift just looks so much nicer than the original release.
Anyone know what it takes to do the exterior conversion? I know its stupid and probably a waste of money but I'd like to know.
My quick observations:
Fenders - the same
Tail Lights - different but the same shape (may need additional module for adapting)
Hood - different
Headlights - different (may beed additional module for adapting)
Front Bumper & misc - different
Rear Bumper & misc - different but could consider leaving it alone
Sorry if I'm wasting bandwidth but I'd really appreciate any help.

does anybody know if the energy absorber or the cover support would need to be replaced if one is going from a regular 2013 bumper to an amg bumper?
checking a few part sites and i see the different part numbers but i'm just not sure if they really are different pieces or i could reuse my stock ones.

So it appears that the front fascia/bumper cover is different but the hood is the same. OEM p/n for the grille does change between 2012 & 2013 but that does not mean it will not fit. Question is how different is the front fascia. Great that the various parts listed reflect the differences but not the grille!
