error or discontinued...
Just on the Canadian MB Website and looking at the GLK I notice the "Advanced Driving Assistance Package" is no longer listed, I wonder if this is an error or just an over sight...

They also have a premium package without the sunroof, just FYI. It's $2,100. We opted for this as my wife doesn't like having the sunroof open, ever.

When we ordered ours there was no Premium without sunroof... mind you the wife really wanted a sunroof... Did you choose a 250 or the 350... we got the 250 should be here in the next month or so...

The premium w/o sunroof option is kind of buried in the official ordering system. There are actually a few things that can be done that they don't mention on the website. There is also a convenience pkg w/o the keyless go, too.
I think these less expensive variants of the packages might be "seasonal" though, so I'm not sure if they're always available at all times of the year. My best guess is that since the 2014 introduced at 1.9% financing, they're not selling well enough-- so they can get creative with cheaper packages, too.

By the way, how much of a deposit did you have to provide? They made us put down $5,000 to factory order. I've never had to give that large of a deposit before and this is the fourth German car I've factory ordered (3 Japanese ones as well). I don't really mind since we're putting down more than that anyway, but I found it odd.

Special order options don't show up on the website or in the printed brochures. Although, strangely, the Parking Assist Pkg is a special order and DOES show up in the "build your own" on mbusa.com; as expected, it does not appear in the printed brochure.
Yikes. I've done three Mercedes factory orders and haven't been required to make a deposit for any of them. One dealership I talked to wanted a $1,000 deposit but they also had the highest price for the car so I basically just laughed.
