Keyless go question
Is there any warning if you leave your car running and get out and walk away with key in pocket? I friend said her husband drove her to the airport to go on a trip and got out, said goodbye and she drove off and he got on the plane. She stopped on the way home and realized she didn't have the key when she could not restart the car and the husband was on the plane with the key.

The only warning is on the odometer's display. It will turn RED and tell you that the key is not detected.
So, whoever driving the car "should" notice that immediately without going too far.
If that person "didn't see the message", then good luck.
I had a friend who owned a Mitsubishi with keyless option, he drove all the way to work and then realize he didn't have the key. His wife has to come and rescue him.

My old Jags use to turn off by themselves all the time. So did my Windows computers. I see Ford got dumped on in the Consumer Report survey for the MS info screens being buggy. Maybe Ford's should replace their Windows with Apples! Probably make it hard to see out.
