Bored?
Hey everyone,
So what do you guys do when you get bored with your car? What is something fun you do with it to get excited all over again? I changed/added a lot of things in the car including tint, blacked out wheels , tinted tail lights, also removed the tint several times and changing the darkness. I also added seat covers (red/black), i like how my car looks and how it drives but i do get bored sometimes. Any new ideas no matter how big or small it is, i will appreciate any input. What do you do when you get bored?

I wax it like crazy and get amazed on the mirror like finish. Don't over do it as you might ruin the elegant look of the ride. Wheels I swap them every year so that it will look fresh.
If you don't have a lady (a real one) it would be a good idea to get one as you might have too much time in your hands on your ride LOL! It might not behave as well as your GLK but you can do more things with her than with the car *wink*.

Yeah i dont really wax it much, thinking about waxing it this week.

Aside from replacing the vehicle, the best thing to do to love your car again is to give it a really good detail job. My wife's GLK is replacing her 6 year old Yaris, and even that thing provides pride of ownership after a nice detail job... and when cleaned up looks nearly new again.

If you have the know how, add LED's to the insides of the door handles inside and out, adds a little touch. Upgrade the sound system, if your car did not come with the appearance package, add trim pieces. Add a roof carrier to match the car, headlight upgrade if they are not already HID's. Lastly... you could wrap the car in a new color.

Recently added the 2013 20" Appearance Pkg. wheels. The lip spoiler & the rear valance from the Aero Pkg. will go on soon. Lip spoiler was expensive but I found a used but not installed valance for way less than half of retail on EBay. These updates will hold me until a 2013 or newer model shows up in the crosshairs a couple of years from now. As mentioned by others, a full detail is an upgrade in itself!
