Adaptive Highbeam Assist
My US 2014 GLK250BT has 319 Lighting Package with Adaptive Highbeam Assist.
The manual (p. 117) says: "To activate: activate the Adaptive Highbeam Assist function using the on-board computer (p. 231)".
Page 231 says : " Go to Sett. menu --> go to Lights submenu-->go down/up to select Adapt. Highbeam function. If the Adapt. Highbeam function has been switched on, the cone of light and the symbol in the multifunction display are shown in orange".
The problem is my Sett.-->Lights submenu does not have Adapt. Highbeam function and the light and the symbol in the multifunction display is shown in white.
Am I missing something?

SLK 350 2013
I don't think you're missing anything.
Seems to be the same on my 2013 canadian 250.
I just leave the light switch on Auto and when you push the stalk forward (like you would to turn on the high beams), the white indicator turns on and you're good to go.
I use this usually and it does a pretty good job of dimming the high beams for oncoming traffic. It usually will do it before I can hit the stalk manually.
It will turn off the high beams for lots of other stuff like light reflecting off signs and stuff, but I guess it's better than blinding oncoming traffic.
The manual seems to cover all the different countries and options that "could" be in the GLK. Too bad we don't get the "motorway mode" ... and the roads to go with it in Canada
