TPMS on Aftermarket (Winter) Rims

TPMS on Aftermarket (Winter) Rims
I bought a set of 17 inch rims and tires for the winter season.
(Initial Post)
Unfortunately, I chose not to purchase the TPMS sensors from Tirerack when I bought the winter package. Now I have this annoying TPMS light on my dashboard. I live in the US, where TPMS is required for all light trucks and SUVs past 2007.
1. Where can I buy decent TPMS for my 2010 GLK to have them installed on my 17 inch rims?
2. When these TPMS sensors are installed, will my GLK automatically sense them? Do they need programming?
Thanks for all the help in advance.

I purchased a set for $250.00 from Tire Rack. Same manufacturer as OEM (Schrader?) but less costly. Of course there are other options out there on EBay.

Did you have to re-program anything? Or your GLK TPMS picked up the signal immediately?

I had them installed by a Tire Rack installer when new Pirellis were mounted. There was a nominal charge to get them in sync which I am uncertain was necessary.

They sit on the back of the tire valve so you need to bead break the tires and then re-install the valve stem with the new TPMS sensors. Not sure if programming is needed but unless you have the equipment to re-install the valves from the inside of the wheel I'd leave it up to a shop or put up with the warning.

Thanks for the replies everyone.
As an update, I bought Titan TPMS sensors. Pep Boys installed all 4 sensors on my winter sets of rims. My GLK automatically sensed them within 5 minutes of driving and the warning light turned off finally.
However, the individual tire pressures are no longer displayed for each tire. Instead, it reads "Tire Pressure Monitor Active." On my original OEM tires with OEM sensors, this message would go away within 30 minutes of driving and show my individual tire pressures.
Is this because the Titan TPMS sensors were not made to display the individual tire pressures?? Has anyone had experience with Titan brand?
I did purposely deflate one of my tires to 15 psi, and my GLK with Titan TPMS detected the low pressure... so I know the sensors are working.
The Titan sellers (OE LLC) have not been helpful. Their main guy Jon is out on vacation.
