18" BBS SR winter wheels on our 2014 GLK

I've always wanted BBS wheels and when I found out they started making an "economical" model, I knew I had to have these on our GLK - albeit as a winter wheel.

The GLK is phenomenal in the winter with these Michelin X-Ice 2 tires. Very impressed.

I've been split between these and the slightly more expensive OZ superturismo(?) on tirerack. Seeing these makes me think I might be happy with them.

The 18's look good enough to run year round! Nice!

What tires did you go with? I am leaning towards the Blizzak DM-V1

Went with the Michelin X-Ice 2 and they've been very good. I've traditionally run Dunlop Wintersport 3D tires on my vehicles for the last 7-8 years and thought it was time for a change.

I used to think 18" rims on GLK looks too small but I guess I was wrong

That's why we went with the SR's - they really look at least 1 inch larger than they are. I like them so much that I might end up ordering a 20" set for summer, although the factory AMG styled wheels are quite nice.
