Opinions on these wheels

Our 2014 GLK is coming late Jan. Want to stay with 19 wheels. Looking at this one. Car is pebble gray.

They look really nice. Is this what your GLK is coming with? Hope you're shopping on Ebay for rims and not buying from the dealer for AMG rims. They can cost you a fortune from the dealer. Ebay has a lot of refinished / recoated rims that look perfect.

We're just getting the stock 19" wheels on our GLK, and I am buying these on ebay to switch out. Yeah, the dealer charges a LOT for rims.

I wanted to stay with 19" wheels just to ensure that there's no ride quality deterioration if I went up to 20's. There probably wouldn't be, but we rented a GLK with 19" wheels, and I really liked how it drove.

I bought my winter wheels from that ebay shop.

They are really good quality, perfect fit, and the price is great.
The only thing, is that I had to get shorter bolts than the stock ones.

Be aware that that particular model that you are looking, is staggered.
9.5 width rear, 8.5 front.
So that will affect your tire rotation.

I went for this model, (18 inches) for my winter tires, which has the same width as stock (8.5) in all 4 corners :

Do you think any wheel installer would have shorter bolts? I was going to use a Tire Rack recommended installer.

With respect to staggered wheels, I hadn't noticed that. Question for you with respect to this -- can I still put the stock tires on all four wheels (i.e., the 19" tires that come with the vehicle). I don't mind just having to rotate the tires side to side, instead of the more usual rotation pattern, but I don't want to have to buy new tires.

9.5 width with almost same offset, could possibly result in interference on inside. Edge of rim would be almost 1" closer to inner fender.

Be careful about rim widths and offsets and get some good advice before buying. I think MB recommend 7.5" x 19" rims with 47mm offset in manual. And make sure the Runflat tires (if that is what 350 comes with) will work with aftermarket rims.

It's not only the length of the bolts, but the shape of the head that matters. MB lug bolts use a different mushroom shape than many aftermarket rims and you must have ones that match. Whoever is selling rims should also be able to supply bolts. But could add another $100 or so.

The installer should not have a problem getting the shorter bolts if needed.
You can call the ebay seller and ask them questions about fitting. It is a custom wheels shop and they were helpful to me on the phone.

This is correct. 9.5, with the same offset as stock will affect the fit, either inside or outside.
The wheels I bought, have the same width and offset as the stock ones. but this model with 1 inch wider, should have a different offset to fit the GLK.

In any case, the vendor should be able to assist you with those questions.
