I called the mt rainier national park office and they told me that I have to carry snow chains to go to Paradise. The problem is when I called the dealer they told me the manufacturer recommends against snow chains. In fact, if I use snow chains, my warranty will be automatically voided. Is it true?

Some friends have recommended the snow donuts. Has anyone tried any of them out?
