Motor Cooling Fan?
Hi, I have a 2011 GLK350,I am wondering if the motor cooling fan should be running after the ignition is turned off?
Dealer told me it will, but I don't notice that on my vehicle. Can someone elaborate on that?
Cheers Mike

You should be around our GLK250 when it is running, or just after stopping the motor here in Arizona. Particularly down in the Phoenix area when its a 110 degrees outside. BTW the engine temp doesn't even get above normal operating temps.

What,s normal operating Temp.? Mine runs about 84 degrees ,i.e., 2 notches above halfway on the Temp.gauge.Is that normal?

After a few years the temp will run about 90 degrees centigrade.

Sorry about that mine runs about 85 degrees centigrade. Not sure how you came up with 84 degrees unless your temperature is digital.
When I first got mine in '09 it ran about 80 degrees and has crept up slightly. I think as the coolant ages it has some effect on the operating temperature.
