Here in the Southwest, water spotting is a big problem. Not a rain problem per se as it rarely rains but to get it wiped down before it dries & spots. Always wash in the cool time of the day & in the shade. The dark tinted glass gets very warm in the sun.To get rid of spots, I have utilised a random orbital buffer with a mild polishing compound to remove spots followed by a good quality carnauba wax. I recently purchased a glass polishing kit from www.autogeek.net which will includes chemicals & clay to get rid of stubborn spots on the side & rear glass of my car. Look forward to reading what other people are doing on this.
