Ok, I asked this previously and had replies that seemed like a pretty straightforward process. Just now trying and same problem....rotate screw at front/top of cowling but no amount of pulling or lifting budges the cowling. So I know which way to exert my effort, do I pull the cowling toward me (it slides off), pull up on the front or back (it pops off), or what???

After you loosen screw at front of cowl, Pull up and tilt on the front, (2 vertical pins) then pull forward towards you, (2 horizontal pins at rear of cowl), Pins just snap in to rubber grommets.
