Very cool, nice GLK. I want a 250... My 350 gets 17MPG lately
We drove from where we lived in Germany (Kaiserslautern, Rheinland-Pfalz) to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Grossglockner, Lake bled Slovenia, Then to the Lipizzaner stud farm in Slovenia near Trieste Italy & Rovinj, Croatia. 1800 miles in all. Mostly did two lane back roads all the way to Croatia, Then autobahn on the return trip. We averaged 36MPG with a car that was very new. (1500 miles at the start of our trip)
May I ask why you bought the V6 instead of the diesel?
I sometimes wonder why American's are so stuck on the big engines in a non performance oriented vehicle. The diesel has more pulling power than the GLK350 (nearly 100 Lbs more torque) So it will be a breeze pulling my Caterham without the huge fuel penalty of a V6.

Yes, it is cool and I am getting 37MPG on my 2014 GLK250, but the car today is at dealership second time ( with 9,200 miles) with CEL waiting for the resolution.
