Cool Taking off entire wiper blade assembly?

Anyone know how to take off the entire wiper blade so it can be placed back lower? This way the wind will not hit it at high speeds.

I gotta hear more about this. I read your question over at my post and I couldn't really get your drift (pun intended ).

Whats that about wing hitting it on high speeds? the wipers arms are tucked below engine cover level, wind isn't supposed to it (at least not as much as to make a noticable sound).

Sounds I hear inside the car are either engine sounds (pretty low though, at least compared to Diesel beasts) and maybe wind sounds but due to lack of proper aerodynamics in the windows and outer casing design ...

Never heard anything coming from the wipers. Can you take a photos of them while they're not operating?

That's wind noise not wing.
on many glk's the right wiper is above the hood when off.
Mine has no cap so I still do not know how to take them off.
