2013 GLK 350 2wd tires recommened by Tire Rack?
Tire Rack has recommended Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus P235/50R19s for my 2013 GLK 350 2wd driven in Florida no snow or ice. Has anyone had any experience with them?

No, but they are now very high on my list ! I had wanted to put on Continental Contacts LX 20's. ( slightly wider and I also am real happy with them (in another size) and on a 12 VW Touareg TDI ) BUT except for ICE traction the Alenza Plus are pretty well rate and CHEAPER (in my case and sizes MINUS- $164.) !! Whlle the warranty is only as good as the vendor that will fulfill it should one need it, the Bridgestone H/L Alenza has an 80.000 miles warranty.

I just installed a set about 1,000 miles ago. I am also in Florida and purchased from Costco. I paid $756. They seem to have a ride equal to original equipment and make no more noise. I was very disappointed the originals only lasted 15,000 miles but these do have a 50,000 mile guarantee.

I am sorry for confusing the warranty. My intent was simply to comment on the tires themselves. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to the actual number of miles the warranty is for as I have no intention of owning the vehicle for that number of additional miles.

How often do you leave Florida? If you do not intend on such trips, you might want to consider a summer only tyre. Much better in rainy weather.

Agreed. I do not go out of Florida and I am also looking at the highly rated Michelin Pilot Super sport in 255 45 19's. Just worried about tread life. This would be the better tire if I decide not to keep my GLK for more then 30,000 more miles.

Have 2013 GLK3502W. When taking delivery over 2 yrs ago had oem tires removed and Michelin MXV4's mounted.(Tirerack recommended). After 18,000 mi I can say that this was a great choice. Great ride, quiet and good in the small amount of snow that we get here. Very little wear showing. Expect to get 40-50k mileage.
Would be my choice if I still lived in Florida!!!
