2010 GLK350 Aux Display
Got the glk350 plugged in my iPod and it only shows the songs in the odometer display?! Is there a way to have it display the songs in the middle console screen? Please help...so disappointed 😕🙈

Your glk looks great! Do you know if that's something that can be added from a custom shop, since the display screen is already there wouldn't that be an easy addition? Maybe just adding the software??

Thank you sir! I'm not sure, i hope other members can help you out. I got used to controlling the songs from the steering wheel, at least that way the passengers don't bother me LOL.

It's ma'am.
and you're welcome.
Haha that is true...they can't see what's playing. I'm going to reach our to a few custom shops and see what they say. I'll let you know. Have a great New Year!

A few posters have gone through this but it's not a project for the faint-hearted. This is the project that would replace your 5" screen with the 7" and add the Nav, HDD, memory card interface, satellite radio option, iphone/3.5 mm jack and rear camera. The most common units I've seen come from the Baltics (Latvia? Lithuania?) and cost around $1200 from memory. The dash comes apart, it gets installed and the software gets updated.
Here is the post that reviews the project in detail with pictures. That will help you decide the best course of action for you.
