Wanted to trade: My 2014 GLK 250 BT Running Boards for your BLACK rocker trim
Here's what I'd like to do: split the cost of swapping my running boards with your rocker trim at the MB dealer or body shop of your choice. Running boards were a $670 option and you essentially get them for free (well, for the cost of the labor). I don't know which models are compatible, but it's reasonable to assume any 2014 GLK, diesel or gas. The reason? My elderly parents and in-laws are having trouble stepping across the rather wide sill created by the running boards. This is likely not an issue for many owners, but it is for me.
I don't have a cost estimate for this yet. Need to have a willing participant and dealer/shop identified first.
I live in Southern MD, not too far from Annapolis, so don't want to drive excessively to pull this off.
