Do you regret having 20" instead of 19"?
For those with 20" wheels, have you ever regretted having 20" instead 19"?
I'm now considering replacing my ML with GLK250 and like the look of sports package but 20" seems a bit too much. It definitely looks cool but with that narrow side wall, I'm just wondering how the ride would be. Do you find that ride is too harsh or the rims are bent easily? Is there any noticeable difference between 19 and 20?
Thanks

The handling is great and the ride is pretty good and I think the suspension is tuned for the 20's.
However, the selection in tires is limited and I think the ride would be a bit smoother with 19's. Maybe the handling would suffer a little but the handling capabilities so exceed my driving abilities I don't think it's an issue.
Also, aren't 20's just a little narrow a sidewall for what is ostensibly a SUV?
I think the 20" are just right for the car. They look good and ride nice enough as daily driver.
On the C63 on the other hand, it's the opposite - almost no difference in handling but the difference in ride quality beween 18s and 19s is quite pronounced, because the car has 1" of suspension travel instead of 6".
So - no regrets whatsoever. Go with 20s on your GLK knowing you've made the right decision.
And 250 had a plenty of power, more than enough for me.

What size/brand of 17's do you have? (on your GLK 250?)

I just bought a 2015 GLK250 for my wife. It has the AMG 5 double-spoke 20s. I had to take these wheels - they're not what I would have chosen. I would have preferred 19's to push the profile ratio up to 50, for the softer sidewall compliance. The tires on these 20s are not Pirellis; they are Dunlop runflats.
The rims look good, the tires are unimpressive. The vehicle is brand new so I'll need more time to see how the tires do with more mileage.
For winter, I will go to 17 or 18" wheels and the appropriate -3 or -2 snow tires.
EDIT: Forgot to mention - I would have liked a spare tire. I'm not a big fan of goop and a compressor.

In response to your idiotic post above, the OP asked all of us about their opinion on wheel size (and for the record, he has a 250 as well). The real question is who the hell asked you to comment on what is someone else's perfectly on-topic response with a snide remark about his engine size vs. yours. Moreover, the fact that you feel your comment is both justified and that your GLK 350 is somehow more worthy of 20" wheels than a 250 (arguably the better car of the two) despite the fact that the GLK is an entry-level Benz to begin with says plenty about you. Go crawl back under your rock, behave in your kindergarten class, and please try to convince your parents that you need professional help ASAP so you can actually achieve somethign in life when you grow up.
