2015 GLK350 base model add back camera
I got the 2015 GLK350 base model.
Please tell me is my car pre-wired for backup camera? Can I install the backup camera? How much does the parts costs? Should I get to a mechanic to install this or at the Mercedes dealer?
My roof rails are black. How do I remove these roof rails?
Is remove & install these 2 roof rails simple and easy? Where can I find instructions?
Period maintenance is every 10K miles right? Should I have this maintenance done at my favorite local mechanic or at the Mercedes dealer?

Your "base" can have a rear camera added aftermarket: (1) correct "kit" including camera, wiring, and video adapter - there are two different kits - there are two style Audio 20 - looking at CD player - both buttons cetner - or one left and one right (2) Star system to unlock/recode.
Kit's are about $550-$650 - then proper install.

Please understand that the aftermarket "kit" for the 2015 GLK is NOT the same as the "kit" for 2013 GLK.
The best resource for details I would recommend is MidCity engineering and/or their distributor Moving On Sounds.

I checked MidCity Engineering products in their web site and searched Google, no rear camera for GLK SUV.
However, searching Google show similar PAC VCI camera shown in YouTube, but its just add on camera, not specific design for GLK.

Look I said check MidCity Engineering or their distributor Moving On Sounds... so like call during business hrs... I have had two customers 15 GLK's done over the past 3-4 months with the kit from Moving on.. whatever..

hi there i understand this person question because i too want to know the answer to it. i myself has been searching for months now , is there wire provision in place if we bought an oem camera thats in the door handle does it plug and play or screen or head unit has to be changed?
