I'm considering a GLK250 now the GLC has arrived. My use case is daily driver plus I need to regularly tow, every weekend in the summer.
I have a 5x10 V nose trailer which contains 2 karts and all the related paraphernalia. I don't know what this all weighs but I've towed with 3 vehicles so far - 2011 Sti, 2002 325xiT and a 2006 Touareg V8 (current). The Touareg does it easily, but I'm looking for a diesel SUV and considering MLs and GLs of course.
If I go for a bug ute, I may as well get a 7 seater, so GL, so if I'm going 5 seats then the GLK is back in my reckoning. I like the boxy looks, small diesel and made in Germany credentials.
Thoughts on towing regularly and heavy stuff with that class II hitch?

GLK250 seems to be a very good towing vehicle.

I was just in your part of the world this past week. Stayed in Anacortes, Took a ferry to Sydney. Then drove to Nanaimo. We bought that trailer in Parksville VI. Also drove over to Tofino (what a beautiful little bay at Tofino)
