Designo diamond white paint

I am getting back to a GLK after 1 year of not driving one. Just about to acquire a 2013 GLK350 with low kilometers on the motor but there is a nasty door scratch (1 foot long) which sharply bent the metal. The only way to fix it is to repaint the door. Question:

1. How hard is it to match the Designo Diamond White paint?
2. To perfectly match the paint I am assuming they need to repaint all the panels around the door, correct? Will I still see a shading difference? The car is being done by a mercedes-benz certified shop.
3. Should I just cancel the deal and forget getting it and just look for a different color?

A gaggle of MB's
If the paint job is being doen by a MB Certified collision center - let them do their thing and you will be happy.

Non-metallics are easier to "brush touch up" small chips - and for non-certified shops can be hard to spray match panels - but for panel respray a Mercedes Certified Collision Center should do a panel like brand new car, no issues.

I knew it! this diamond white paint is a pain in the *** to repaint! Even the MB certified shop had a hard time matching it. In the end of the day it took them 3 tries. They removed the clear pearl coat and reapply it again to the car 3x. I insisted that they repaint almost half of the car to perfectly blend it in. After a lot of arguing with the dealer and the MB body shop about the P.O.S. paint job they did they cave in and tried one last time or else they will not sell the car. The result is a perfect match paint job, $1000 gift certificate for the trouble, free floor and trunk liners, free first service maintenance = I am happy.
