I bought a CPO in Florida with two relatively new tires and two that appeared to be original. They were the OEM Continentals, which were okay in Florida, but struggled in snow when I moved to Denver last year. I ended up putting on Michelin Premier LTX all seasons on, and the difference in snow is remarkable. Much of that has to be because the tires are brand new, but so far I really like them. What else are folks using for all season tires?

I've always used Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico's. Reasonably priced, great ride and only the second set with 70K. I'm running 20" wheels.

I had the same issue, one set of new continental and one with 50% tread, I put on a pair of Michelin premier on the rear and the ride quality was a major improvement. If you read test reports on the factory Continental tire you wonder why they put a mediocre tire on the Glk. The Michelin has much better overall ratings. I'm going to get rid of the pair of new continental and run 4 Michelin, they are that much better in every respect, the original continental are rated fair to good in 6 categories, or 3 out of 5 star. The Michelin are a 4.5-5 . Mercedes should switch.
