I've bought 2 different sets on eBay. Both ended up strobing and/or flashing. They are also extremely bright. I could dial down the brightness easily enough, but I"m not a fan of them flashing ) =

I actually didn't. I have an AC/DC converter in my garage.
For whatever reason, I had decided to see how they looked before I ran any wires. The real downside is it was ordered from China. Trying to communicate for a return was not easy, and in the end they just say to "mail it back". It wasn't cheap, but I really don't feel like dealing with international shipping.
