I installed the same brand on mine. That and the Zimmermann rotors.
Love 'em compared to the stock ones.

I have them. They are great in terms of being no-dust, but I find the braking to be significantly worse than with OEM pads. I have not done a scientific stopping distance test, but it feels like I have to apply much more braking pressure in panic situations than before.

Well that's not good at all. What about if someone wants more bite?

Beats me, I haven't found a good compromise. I also tried the EBC Redstuff that some swear by (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1), I found them to be much more dusty than the Akibonos. So I settled on the Akibonos as a compromise, but every time I get into a GLK or C class loaners when my GLK goes in for service, it reminds me how much more bite the OEM metallic pads have (of course they make the wheels black within a day).

Good brake pads are hard to find.

On my 4Runner, it was easy : Performance Friction. Great grip cold, insane grip warm. Done.

On my BMWs, Axxis Ultimates. Same thing.

On my Legacy GT, I tried a lot of them, and some were great (cold and warm grip) but would squeal like mad (Carbotech AX6), and others (Bobcats) gripped like throwing an anchor out back when hot, but lacked grip when cold.

Ugh...

$200 for a set seems pricey for aftermarket pads. A set of OEM front and rear costs around $240 at a dealership I frequent near Los Angeles.

I replaced my 1/3 used oem pads with Akebono Euros for dust issues. Much better than OEM but not as good as no-longer-available Rotex Kevlar. They stop as well as OEM. "Bite - put your toes down harder.

Ceramic will not "bite" until they are warmed up and will not give you the same feel when they are cold like semi-metallic.

I switched to Akebono ceramics for the front brakes and I'm glad I did. I wish I had done the same for the rear brakes, because my rims stay nice and clean up front but there's a lot of dust on the rear rims. I don't notice and difference in braking, but I don't have to spend 20 minutes scrubbing the rims when I wash my car now.
