Engine vibration in console
Hello all,
recently started experiencing a vibration that is felt while idling or in stationary position. The vibration is primarily at the center console area. It is not felt/heard while driving. I suspect that the transmission mount is gone now. I don't think the engine mounts are bad.
Thoughts?

it is your mounts like you suspected, only way to really tell is to get under it or get it on the lift to be sure. If you want to test the engine mount then have someone sit in the car while it is on, hold the brakes all the way down and blip the throttle and see if there is abnormal movement of the engine, its a tell sign of engine mount failure.

AzCamel,
I had done the engine test and the engine mounts seem to be fine for now. I think its the transmission that has gone bad. I could be wrong. I have ordered the replacement part and will see how much is reduced after I replace it. the back one mount is easier than the front two. not looking forward to those.
