Body looks clean. Have you considered mounting the roof cross bars and storage box rearward on the roof? So that the windshield and front nose of box forms a smooth transition? It might help wind noise reduction and the appearance would be different (better or worse?).

can’t move further from the current position, are the cargo box will hit the boot once opened .
