I did order the diamond grill
After careful consideration, The black mounting bar on the vented grill looks unappealing to me. So I decided on the diamond once again.
Im not bragging or shoving it in your face that I got it cheaper. But it rubs me the wrong way when a retailer sells the same parts for wayyy more than another retailer. Imagine the dealer sells you a filter for $40 then you go to another dealer and they sell you the same exact oil filter for $21.
Then consider the part made in China. You stated u think it is OEM. Clearly it is not, but an aftermarket. OEM would be like Brembo SGL or something along thise lines.

The sellers on Alibaba are listing these grills for model years 2012-2014. I have a 2015 GLK350. It should fit correct? Odd, if you search under X204 you get more listings than searching under GLK350.

The Chinese retailers likely put the production start year to the production end year in place of model years. Yes it will fit. seams that the retailers are changing the prices once again.

Well my diamond grille arrived faster than I expected, but i gotta sign for it at the post office. Heres a before pic for now.
To those who did the install
I got to the last part of removing the old grill with the bottom three tabs, but how does one remove the center tab without breaking it? The left and right are easy push down release. YES, I did search for the instructions (even on the deutsch forums!), but It didn't make sense to me. Push down? Pull up?
Thanks

About $150 USD - $190 + shipping. But the sellers keep changing the price, probably due to demand. You can obtain them on eBay, Alibaba, or aliexpress.
Its a really stunning upgrade, I'm so glad i picked the diamond version.
Be sure to do the distronic plus as well!

You can just do the emblem, I inquired about it earlier this year. To make it functional you are looking at $1.5K+ USD with the emblem, the radar emitter, the module, the wiring, and labor.
The emblem is very easy to install. Part Number: A1648880411 is the correct fitment for GLKs.
I do plan on posting a good write-up (perhaps even a video) on removing and installing the grille as all other sources on the internet have been subpar.

Mine arrived today. Order it from ADSG through Alibaba last Fri night and it arrived today. A mere 5 days. Impressive!!! The diamond grill is more impressive. The grill surprised me. It's sturdy and the finish is quality. Luffy Cao was the person who took my order and they are surprisingly responsive. Triple thumbs up.
The only caveat was the grill emblem. I had to sand down the 3 emblem bridges. Originally the emblem wouldn't seat flush with the emblem tray. It took me an hour to sand it but no worries. For the price, it's well worth it..

So once you get your grille take a good look on the back of the mounting points at the bottom and install the emblem of your choice.
You will need a few tools:
-prybars
-10mm socket
-A swivel extension helps the nut removing
1.) Deactivate the engine and release the bonnet
2.) Remove the engine bay seal from the plastic cover. it simply lifts upward and pull it aside.

I'm keeping the OEM emblem grill as my backup. I noticed the OEM emblem is more solid than the one that comes with the diamond grill.
C'mon dude...keep it coming. Waiting for steps 3+ on your tutorial.

3.) there are 6 tabs you need to remove.
4.)turn the twist tabs 90 degrees in any direction
5.) pry this tab
6.) this one is easy lift then with your finger
7.)Now release the engine air filter hose, you can use your nail or something skinny
8.) lift the whole plastic off the front, clear the rubber sealers in the front.
9.) there a total of eight 10MM bolts you need to remove. Remove these four first.
10.) Then you need to remove two more bolts on each side. Access to these are tight and that is where a swivel extension helps. A nut driver is also great for this spot.
You can also remove the top headlights covers if you want, but I skipped this step
11.) Pry the tabs off the hooks of the grille.
12.) remove plastic brace of both sides.

13.) now the last part is the most difficult removal. Take your time, use the right non-marring tools, and once you do it you will get it. To illustrate it easier, I have already removed the grill to show you the location of the three tabs. You want to remove the left and right side first, then do the center tab last.
14.) To remove the left and right tabs you want to push down from the inside of the grille. then slightly push the grille (towards the engine bay) to disengage the tab
15.) Center tab you gotta push the tab on the inside and the use your smallest plastic pry tool and squeeze it through the front of the grille. Then push the grille lightly and it should come off!
16.) Reinstall is easy, but when you install the bolts the bumper might not line up. So adjust the bumper then tighten down again. Here is an example of a misaligned bumper to bonnet.

Big ups to JohhnyC for his tutorial. His directions are spot on.
I would like to add that for unlocking the lower center grill tab on step 15, slid a thin flat tool between the grill and the bumper and gently pivot the tab down and push the grill towards the engine. This will take several tries and the main point is gently.
You're dealing with plastic parts so it's all finesse. The install was 1.5 hours for me but I approached it with caution and precision.
One more thing, removing the headlight covers opens the access points of the far left and right bolts in step 10 so it's your call.
