Angry How to locate dropped bolt??

There should be a section for lost nuts, bolts and tools in this forum. Ha! Okay, so I'm changing out the battery today... heavy *******. I've got the new one in and I'm putting on the little bracket on the right side that holds the battery down. There are two bolts there. I get the first one in just fine. I'm getting the second one in position and *boink* it falls out of the socket, bounces on the top of the battery and pops right down the plastic cowl/drain directly behind the battery.

I stuck the magnet-on-a-stick thing down there, to no avail. I think it's gone down to wherever that thing leads. Any of you have any idea how to get that cowl/drain off or at least where it leads? I've tried to find diagrams that'll show what's up, with no luck. I suppose it won't hurt anything if it has to live there the rest of the vehicle's life, but I'm OCD and it'll bug me always knowing it's in there somewhere. Argh!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Mike

Should drain back behind the fender liner behind the wheel.

Yeah, I thought it must go back there somewhere, but I can't see it. Must be buried behind something.

Thanks
