Vehicle Order Option Code for Back-up Camera?
I'm hunting for a used GLK250/350. The only thing I'm really dead set on is under 50K miles, 2013-2015, beige interior, and a back-up camera.
I've been using https://www.mercedesvin.com to compare options. Unfortunately, I can't seem to nail down specifically which option code pertains to the back-up camera. I end up having to call dealers and wait while they run out and check. I thought maybe it was '512' with the COMAND option, but I'm not sure as I think I may have seen some GLKs without that code but with a back-up camera.
https://www.mbusa.com/vcm/MB/Digital...-GLK-Class.pdf would seem to confirm my suspicion about the COMAND/camera correlation. Could anyone confirm?

I looked at the Master sheet on my 2013 GLK 350 and it shows 512 as Command, which I think means the I have the Multimedia package. That option includes a backup camera. There is also another option showing code 218 as Reversing camera. I'm guessing that might be just the camera without the Multimedia package. Hope that helps. It's kind of confusing looking at individual option codes and trying to translate what packages you have. Maybe someone else has better info.

For my 2015 - Code 320 is the MM package which includes bigger screen, NAV, and backup camera, but 218 is the separate line item for the camera. At least thats how it looks on my build sheet.
I bet the codes are the same at the factory, but each selling location is different. Like in the U.S., to get the backup camera you have to have multimedia package so you get the bigger screen that works with the camera. In some other markets maybe you could get camera without MM package?

I put your parameters in listingallcars.com. Site gives you a keyword space. Entered "camera". A local to me GLK came up. The dealer uses Autopacket so you can see the buildsheet/msrp. As zzglk pointed out, they show the same 2 codes, with the camera being part of the multimedia.
